-Story by Araceli Flores & Jonathan Hedlund

Bonjour! If you are interested in French food, French girls or boys, French toast, or even French fries then French Club is the place for you! There are many activities; watching French movies or even participating in French karaoke. It's open to anyone who wants to learn more about the beautiful country and culture. Remember, you do not have to be in a French class to join. French club has many potlucks so you can taste delicious French food! They also fundraise to provide French club sweatshirts for all members. So, make sure you join! Meetings will be held every other Friday during lunch, so get your lunch, bring a friend and come on in to room 213.

"I joined French Club because I love the French culture and the country. I like to witness the different cultures. This is my third year going to French Club and it's so much fun. I'm really hoping to become club president." -Vanessa Chavez (12)

It's just fun to be able to learn about a different culture, a different country, food in general and I think that's what brings students together. So if anyone is interested in anything remotely close to that, join French Club." -Advisor, Ms. Zambrano

"I like the atmosphere in the club and how everyone gets to know each other more." -Daniel Segura (12)

Justice Monsters 5  App Review

“It seems like a cool game but it always ends up freezing on my phone after playing for a bit.” -Lauren Limon (11)

“It’s a cool game but it tries to explain too much in tutorials when it really doesn’t.”

-Matt Ferguson (10)

Justice Monsters 5 is a game created by Square Enix that is made to promote another game, but it is still entertaining and it manages to stand on its own. The premise is pretty simple, these monsters are helping people and fighting evil monsters that attack. The game plays like a pinball game except for the fact that there are monsters that you must hit as a pinball. The controls are not complex either, all you really do is swipe in the directions that the monsters are in.

With my short time playing, it was enjoyable like any other good app. I found the dialogue between the characters to be funny and the different monster elements seem to be a nice way to differentiate itself from similar games. There also seems to be more monsters you can obtain as you progress further in the game. The negative thing about the game is that it is one of those freemium games where you either spend money to play more or wait to play again. It’s a good game but I would only play it in small amounts just to pass the time.

-Andres Copado

“Someone told me to download the game and I tried it. It took a while for it to start up but other than that, it's an alright game, it’s nothing special.”-Bijan Ladan (9)
