Issue 57 vol. 2

Cross country went to Lompoc for their third and final meet. Boys finished 3rd led by John Gutierrez [10th overall], for the girls they finished 6th led by Andrea Pasillas [27th overall]. JV boys finished 2nd led by Luis Soto [6th overall] and David Hernandez-pinon [12th overall].

What Are You Doing After High School?

Right now, many of our seniors are deciding what they want to do and where they want to go. Some want to join the army while some may want to go to college. Plenty are still undecided, and that’s okay. Everyone has their own ambitions and goals after high school. What do you want to do?  

"After high school, I want to go to Hancock to study criminal justice and forensics to become a police officer."- Vanessa Diaz (12; right)

"After high school, I want to join the air force and study in the medical field."- Olive Vasquez (12; left)

"I plan on going to Hancock and completing their technical program for PCPA and becoming a master technician for concerts." -David Lopez (12)

"After high school, I plan to go to a four year university and study in Kinesiology and bio mechanics. I hope to do whatever makes me happy in the future."

"I'm going to move to L.A. and then attend college, but I'm not sure where. Maybe somewhere in L.A. and interact with women anywhere I can." -Micheal Dumitrescu (12)

"I want to go to a university. I'm hoping to go to UC Merced. I'm undecided right now, but I'm hoping for a good career."

"I'm going to Santa Barbara City College and getting my associate's degree in nursing. I plan to get a job in Santa Barbara and commute there everyday. I want to be able to experience new things"

Community Action Commission with the generous donation of Naturipe would like to support any Pioneer Valley High School Student currently participating or accepted in a High School Sport.  We will provide up to $100 dollars per qualifying student based on fund availability to support any sport required equipment or attire.
