Water Polo Senior Night
Last Thursday, Seniors on our varsity water polo team were honored for their hard work and dedication to their sport. The coaches recognized all the effort the senior athletes put into their games. That they played their last water polo game against Santa Maria High School here at home. The whole team played their hearts out for their friends and family in the crowd. Even though the rain went on for their entire game, they managed to pull it together and still played amazing. We are going to miss our awesome seniors and we wish them the best of luck in the future.
-Araceli Flores
"I'm going to miss my team. I'm going to miss the pool, it's become my home. Hate to say goodbye, but it all comes to an end." -Juan Rangel (12)
"I'm definitely going to miss the brotherhood I made with each and every one of the players on the team. I'm going to miss the pool deck. I'm going to miss everything. I'm going to miss practice. I'm going to miss the games. I dedicated my time to this and I really love this sport." -James Perez (12)
"I will miss the many 'friends' I have made throughout the years and the depressing outcomes of our games. I'm just kidding, I will really miss how we all worked together as a team and the family environment we created. My teammates will always be remembered as my family and I will truly miss them. Shoot!"-Kevon Cabatic (12), right

"I'm going to miss everything, especially my team. I'm going to miss getting in trouble by the coaches and getting yelled at by the team captain, Juan. Most of all I'm going to miss the team." -Uriel (12), left
"It was a tough loss, but one thing that I am very proud of and have been proud of from the very beginning is our relentlessness inability to throw in the towel. I will miss everything about my pool from the den to my beautiful players and it will stay with me forever. Now it is just a memory. Our next challenge is in SLO." -Andrew Eisener (12)
