The Panthers Attack the Warriors

Last night our Panthers went to war at the Warrior battlefield. The Boys’ Varsity Volleyball played an intense set of matches against our cross town rival. This was our first game against Righetti on their home turf. PV displayed their teamwork and devotion to the game veraciously. If you missed out on this away game with our notorious rival, don’t fret because this is not the last time that our Panthers take on the Warriors this season. Throughout the constant floor sweeps of the players, and the intense back to back hits, this game was well worth the watch. Until next time, Warriors!

Milk and Honey Book Review

Milk and Honey by Rupi Kaur is a book commonly seen throughout your search history or food on Instagram, Snapchat, Twitter, and so on. This book is divided up into four sections. Each page is filled with a quote that comes from the writer's heart. The book first starts off as the Hurting. In this section, he talks about the abuse he has been going through as a 21 year old. Section two is the Loving: the hope that love will save him and heal him. Then things get colder; the pain settles in. You feel empty, you feel like not existing is your only option, but it's not. You crumble to your lowest of low, but you see how strong you truly are. But right as you seem to be wanting to give up... you don't. You end up healing and becoming into your old self. This book is definitely one of my favorites. I'd recommend it not only because the poems are beautiful, but because of truly deep and meaningful all of this was to him.
