Girls’ Soccer Wins First CIF Game
"My uncles inspired me to play soccer when I was 5 years old and I've been playing ever since. I'm passionate about the sport because it gives me the opportunity to show what I'm capable of. I feel really proud of the team because we were able to prove a lot of people wrong. A lot of people like to underestimate PV, but what they don't understand is that we're not the same team as before." -Kasandra Bright (12, #19)

The Panthers Girls soccer team won their CIF game in Ventura yesterday. After falling behind 2-0 the girls fought back and walked off with a 3-2 sudden death in overtime to win. Patty Rubio had all 3 goals and Vyaney Zorrilla had 2 assists. It was an amazing team effort by all the girls to beat a historical giant (Ventura HS) on their own turf. The girls invite everybody to support them in Santa Ynez at 5pm on Thursday.

The first Star Wars movie came out in 1977 and ever since then it’s grown a huge fan base. The Star Wars community is ginormous and could arguably have the biggest fan population. Each year fans get to together at Star Wars Celebration and put on their best costumes. Star Wars Celebration 2017 is being held in Orlando and tickets are sold out. There are many fans out there in the world but how many Star Wars fans does Pioneer Valley have?

"I love the Star Wars franchise. Just the thought of the museum being built fills me with ecstasy without a doubt. My favorite Jedi in the series in C3-PO. Don’t get me started about Star Wars land being built at Disney Land. I don’t think I can wait. Ever since I was a youngling growing up in the trap, Jar Jar Binks has been the love of my life. Han Solo is a stud muffin."

Game of the Week
For today’s game of the week is from a game series that’s been one of the most exciting games out on the market. It’s in the same line as the Call of Duty, Final Fantasy, Guitar Hero, and other hot games out on the shelves. I'm talking about the New Resident Evil 7: Biohazard from Capcom. The franchise has been around since 1996 and recently had its 20th anniversary celebration. Going stronger than ever, its seventh installment supports not just XBOX one but also the PlayStation 4s and VR systems. So for those PlayStation and VR lovers out there this will be a perfect game for you to have a good time to view. If you want to see some zombies chasing you or take a scary trip to Post-Racoon City, this frightening adventure will be the perfect game for you.
