Trail Blazers Hike Montana de Oro

-MS. Effland

Trail Blazers is a new club on campus this year – advisors Jennifer Ogren and Kristina Sewell.  Mission of the club is to foster a love of the outdoors.  These photos are from this past Saturday when the Trail Blazers hiked to Valencia Peak at Montana de Oro. They had 21 members attend and all successfully climbed the 2 mile up and back trail. They were happy to go to Sylvester’s Burgers in Los Osos afterwards.
Photos courtesy of Teresa Crenshaw who chaperoned the hike.

Yearbook Sales End this Month! (buy yours now)

The time has come to buy your yearbook. January 31 is the final day to purchase your yearbook at only $95. The yearbook includes senior baby pictures, the senior panoramic photo, all sports, homecoming, clubs, friends and family, Prom, and so much more! The yearbook is the only place you can find everything that happened at PVHS this school year. It’s our number one goal to include everyone, and we feel like we will reach it this year. The yearbook is for everyone. We encourage you to buy it. Years from now you’ll find it in the back of your closet and open it up and look through the old photographs and remember. You’ll remember your life here, your friends, the stories. You’ll smile and be grateful you bought it because you can’t put a price on memories.

Panther Soccer Blanks Knights: 5-0

-Diana Garcia

Our Varsity Boys’ Soccer played Friday night against St. Joseph. The Panthers played hard, not letting a single goal go in first half. Our panthers played with their heart and showed off their incredible talent and teamwork. They are hoping to make it to CIF and win; currently they are 15-3-1. That’s only one loss this entire season! Our boys only have 5 more games left and they are determined to win. Both coaches are very proud of this team and encourage you to come out and cheer your team on!

"Our boys played good Friday night they tried their hardest on the field and didn’t give up. I am looking forward to going to the rest of their games and supporting them."

-Juan Valenzuela (9th)

"The boys played good it was an intense game I loved how Carlos Vasquez just took the rest of the other team and made those wonderful goals"

-Guadalupe Garcia (9th)
