FFA Rings in New Year

Known for their particularly festive meeting, our FFA Chapter hosted a New Year’s themed meeting, last night, January 26th. The meeting was decked out with balloons, noisemakers, and FFA members eager to eat some tacos and drink Horchata that the club provided. Besides informing the members about upcoming events in the month of February such as the Sectional Speaking Competition and FFA Week, the meeting consisted of a Hula Hoop Competition and Donut-On-a-String Eating Competition. Here is what a couple active FFA Members had to say about this upcoming year.

-Jordan Gonzales

“I’m excited to see the people who show at fair, especially the freshmen, and how they are going to enjoy it.” -Talya Speer (12)

“Being my last year in the FFA, I look forward to participate in the judging teams, speaking competition, and raising an animal. Overall I look forward to make the best of the few months I have left in my Senior Year.”

-Zitlali Hernandez (12)
