Taco 'bout that SALSA!
My family and I have been a big fan of El Pueblito for years! El Pueblito is one of Santa Maria's most authentic Mexican restaurants in town. They are known for their genuine hospitality, flavorful food, and aesthetically pleasing scenery. Walking into this restaurant gives one a glance at Mexico's fine cuisine and cultural style. The name of the restaurant is translated to "the little town"; it represents the comfort of a little hometown with food that gives one a flash back of a good home-style cooking.

The restaurant itself has an authentic architecture. It may look small on the outside, but I assure you it's quite big inside, full of tables and booths. The restaurant holds a Mexican décor, including a vibrant painted room, leaving one to feel welcomed (not to mention their original table centerpieces which include various condiments).

But of course with the restaurant's promised aesthetics, the food is equally pleasing with authenticity. The first impression of any Mexican restaurant is the salsa. Let me tell you one thing straight, this place has the BEST SALSA in town! It's spicy and savory flavor will leave you wanting more, and more. And if that’s too spicy for you, they do have some tasty fresh waters to give a try such as: Horchata, Jamaica, and many more. They have a wide variety of foods including some of the commend dishes: burritos, tacos, chile rellenos, fried mojarra, and so much more. So come down, take a look at the menu, and try something new. Its price range is quite affordable starting from $11-$30. Give it a try and see for yourself how great this restaurant make you feel.

Is America a Great Country?
"I hope that in the next four years, Trump can improve issues regarding discrimination, racism, violence, etc. Hopefully he won't let us down even with the horrible reputation he's already given himself. I do love this country and wouldn't want to live anywhere else." -Olivia Vasquez (12)
Is the Unites States of America as great as we think it is? For example, President Trump, does not think America is great because of many things like Obamacare. The president wants to make many changes to make this nation better and stronger. Do you think these changes will make this country better? People who live in a different country might not have the same rights as Americans. Therefore, they think the people who live in the states are very fortunate. I think one thing we can agree on that needs a little bit of help is America's education system. The United States would be better if the racism and hate would end. If you were able to change some things about our country, what would you change? Some of our fellow Panthers say what's on their mind:
"Yes, I do think America is a great. What I would do to make it better is make the election process different and focus more on heavy crimes then the little stuff. I do not think Donald Trump will do all the things he said he would." -Jose Corral (12)
"If I had the opportunity to change some things about our country, I would change all the violence and discrimination and anything else that relates to that. I would also provide better jobs for everyone living in this country and make paying for college less expensive." -Angie Magaña (12)
"America is filled with many opportunities. But if I were to be able to change some things, I would hear the people's concerns first and then try to change or fix the problems. I believe that Trump will do what he promised, but congress won't support him. They know the chaos he can bring towards the country and he can't violate the constitution." -Tania Medina (12)
"I think America is a great place however, to make it better, I would stop all the violence going on in the country and provide help for all the people in need. I believe that Donald Trump will not do what he promised because he doesn’t have enough people on his side." -Guadalupe Peña (12)
