Girls’ Varsity Soccer Clutches Win Against the Greyhounds

Our lady panthers played hard last night against Atascadero high. Much of the game stood at a stalemate, until our panthers scored an early lead towards the end of the first half, courtesy of Lupita Aranda. It didn’t last long however, when the greyhounds fired back. During the second half, Patty Rubio scored a penalty shot to put us 2-1, but again the greyhounds made a score of their own, launching the game into overtime. After 10 minutes, both teams struggled to make a goal, until double overtime began, when Olivia Lopez scored a penalty kick putting the Panthers 3-2. Defense played hard in the last 5 minutes, securing the game for Pioneer Valley.

WASAAAB!!!

I go to Mikado’s very frequently with friends and family. Their sushi is the freshest and most authentic in town. Once you walk in, you feel the positive environment and wonderful hospitality. Mikado's sushi bar, tables, floors, and bathrooms are spotless. It gives me trust in their food preparation.

Biting into my first roll from Mikado’s, the flavors started rushing into my taste buds full of pure satisfaction. Right then and there, I knew I was hooked. Mikado's sushi is crafted with the finest and freshest ingredients. The 911 roll is one of my favorite rolls. It’s consists of seaweed, rice, fresh avocado, crab meat, and tucked with tempura shrimp on both ends of the roll. Lastly, it is layered with a fiery vivid sauce. The intense sauce pulls the roll together quit pleasantly; the spicy and savory sauce lingered on my taste buds, and it left me wanting more.

If you’re looking for some authentic sushi at a low price, come down to Mikado's Japanese restaurant. They have delicious sushi, noodles, and appetizers. If you Order off the yellow menu and ads up to $15 you get the rolls at a great reduced price of 50% off.

Boys' JV Soccer Ties Arroyo Grande

On Friday, January 14th , our JV Panthers played against Arroyo Grande High School (AGHS) Eagles at home. JV players had a tough game with the goalie, and one of us did get injured in the first half. Fortunately, he recovered and continued doing his best. The night ended with the Panthers tying against AG Eagles. Panthers played very well out on the field and never failed to try their best and put their all into their games. As they say, practice makes perfect. No matter what, everyone keeps trying their best to improve themselves. This doesn’t end here.
